‘Metaphys’ Hono Light: A futuristic lamp with a retro twist
These minimal LED lights are designed to act like a real candle by flickering in the wind, and automatically turning off when you blow on them.
The clever design even includes a giant “matchstick” which turns the candle on when struck against the side of the tubular silicon fixture. Each candle comes with its own charging base which can provide up to 8 hours on a single charge. They also come with a wall mounting bracket if you’d like to use them as sconces.

Products designed to be shared and interactive physical level with acquaintances and strangers. According to the limits of each person. The three pieces in the collection are textiles, simple patterns, natural materials and basic production processes. This demonstrated that man needs the others to develop and evolve.
DESIGN: THE POLABOY - ART BY DAY, LIGHT BY NIGHT
In a years time, everyone will have one! For two years product designer and master craftsman Jirko Bannas, creative director and photobook publisher Oliver Seltmann worked intensively on the idea of the light picture. None of the existing standard products measured up to their vision of an ultra-flat, bright and uniformly illuminated lightwall (in the vision of an authentic Polaroid photograph). So they made one - The Polaboy!
The Polaboy team did not only develop the frame, but offers special artist editions along with it. More information on the project can be found here.
