One of the Call Parade phone booths (orelhões) that are decorating Avenida Paulista, in Sao Paulo. This was my favorite of all. All phone booths on the avenue were decorated by an artist.
When I lived in Sao Paulo every phone booth (whenever I needed one) were either completely useless or just vandalized. When VIVO (phone carrier) took over the Spanish Telefonica they came up with the Call Parade Project and yesterday I was in awe: when art interacts with people, people respect it. As a result, neat and functional phone booths.
