Roberu Leather Accessories from Japan
Leather is a material that becomes more and more beautiful when it ages. But the accessories from Design Studio Oberu, based in Yokohama Japan are already looking great. Their collection consists of bags, belts, wallets, cardholders, wristbands, shoes, iPhone cases and some great looking camera holders and straps.
Made with great materials, clean lines and neat detailing. Don’t hesitate to go watch their collection here. Or look for a local dealer here.
Instead of printing out photo booth strips, this Harajuku photo booth will print out 3D figurines of yourself thanks to the magic of 3D printers!
It was set up by creative studio PARTY and will be up from November 24th to January 14th.
You have to stand still for 15 minutes in order to get your 3-dimensional photo taken — think you can hold your pose?

The Shiroyone Senmaida rice paddies in Japan now appear in the Guinness Book of World Records and were registered as Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems last year. Located on the Noto Peninsula, the rice paddies, which are farmed using traditional methods, contain over 2,000 irrigation ponds.

Tokyo and the Kyoto Jidai matsuri (festival of the ages) - Tokyobling’s Blog
Insufficiently fulfilled by tattoos and piercings, Japanese body-art fans are taking things to another level with a bizarre practice called “bagel heading.”
As demonstrated on a new National Geographic show called Taboo (video here), a bagel-head artist gives a willing participant the look by pumping 400 cc of saline into his forehead until a large welt forms — then presses a finger into the lump to create a bagel hole-like dent.
House K by Hiroyuki Shinoza
This Tokyo House is quite the lone standing tower. With its height of 9 metres and width of only 2 metres, makes this quite the unconventional form, especially in regards to Japanses standards.
The architect Hiroyuki Shinoza is the very creator of this place, known for loosing the form at times. Even though the place might seem clastrophobic, it actually bares a beautiful open structure with an endless ceiling.
Shinoza is famous for creating spaces that are playful and in certain ways remind of a child’s ideal home.
